I3estman4u: Was it sudden or expected? No matter, it's hard regardless. My heart goes out to you & your family.


He was riding a bike and his wife went out to look for him and found him on the road dead..

Not expected at all..he was in pretty good shape..

I lost my father in Feb '99 to a stroke. He was helping my mother make soap one Sun when he collapsed. It seemed he would be ok but fell into a coma Tue afternoon. Because of the amount of damage and the chances of him surviving, we elected to remove life support. He was gone on Thurs. Considering how active he was, it was a total surprise.
He was the second of three family members we lost in a matter of six or seven weeks. A cousin only 10 months older than me two weeks before due to a massive heart attack and then my fathers youngest brother five weeks after to a heart attack

I lost my sister on Good Friday this year. She also was to young.

MF told me mourning is required and we( the living), need each other to get through these time.
