That's not that uncommon at my new place, all sorts of wildlife right in my back yard. Beavers, weasels, deer, ducks, moose, black and grizzly bears, etc.
Just don't go poking it with a sharp stick and you'll be fine. Oh, and don't wrap yourself in bacon either.

well there are DEC Sheriffs .troopers a city police...I guess the bear was in the park across the street and ran though the empty lot next door and into our backyard....wqe think it is pretty wild .....
