I have been on this site for a few days and have tried e-mailing people but have got no replies.
What am I doing wrong? I am a normal fella always up for a bit of divilment
I don't know what I am looking for on this site but a girl friend recommended it so I said I would give it a go.
I am thinking of leaving it and going back to the old fashioned / random way of meeting and talking to women when out.
Bit of advice would be appreciated.

You could always try putting your profile up on the profile reviews section asking for advice. You might get more replies there

Welcome to CS and the forums.I had a peep at your profile and it's a good profile. Give yourself some time, a few days isn't long. Make sure the girls you are mailing have been online in the last few days. There are a lot of old profiles left behind by people.
How about going to the CS meet up in Kilkenny? Great way of getting to meet other singles without the pressure of a one to one date.
I did and twas fun but nothing came out of it. They are a bit of craic though.

Just a little tip. Press the quote button on the post you are replying to. 
I did there yesterday and to be honest you were the only one who commented on what I wrote (twas about the girl with yer man who was coming on a big strong two soon)

Being naive me I put in my profile that I am looking for activity partners - well I really am looking for people to do things with, so isn't that activity?
I got a lot of mails and flowers from all kind young fellas and was a bit puzzled until one young lion - bless him - bothered to explain to me what it actually means on dating sites!
He was going "Sorry, sorry" but I am forever grateful that he explained!

The slow load is annoying alright. It's a new problem, wasn't always like this, and it's happening to members the world over.

The site is acting up at the moment which is why it's taking so long to load the pages. Hopefully, they're working on it and an engineer is under the table with a screwdriver in the CS office whilst we speak. Alternatively he may be under the table with one of the office girls and it may take a bit longer!
Thanks for the advice (tried quoting someone and i think my computer nearly went on fire so I said I would just normal post)
Apologies if this is a post that many others have done before but don't forget I am new and this is all new to me.
