Why not come down here for a short healthy holiday by the sea and let me show you around the area. I could take you to Canterbury Cathedral if you are interested as while I am not religious, it IS a beautiful buliding steeped in much more famous historical events than York.

One thing I know is that if two consenting legally single adults of any age, regardless of any age differences either way, agree to be friends, lovers or even marry, it is their legal right to do so and entirely their own business.

They might be brother & sister or otherwise related. It is their right to live in the same house and possibly due to financial reasons but it is still nobody elses business.

People need to keep their opinions to themslves and mouths shut especially in public and/or when and if they do not know the couple involved and there are many innocent reasons for them to be together.

Further - The legal position is that if anyone comments on the relationship and objects in public and the couple mentioned find how and what is said offensive or offensive language is used against both or individually they have the right to seek witnesses, involve the police and sue the perpetator/s for slander and if in writing, libel.
