I was just discussing with a friend the things we missed from days gone by, like building rickety dangerous structures to ride our bikes across that would make any health and safety officer implode.
Or simple things like going up to the store early in the morning to get bread that was still warm from the bakers oven...mmmmmmm.... having milk delivered and being able to go out and leaving the house open to air it out...
It was a different time back then... what are some of your favourite memories?
Letting the kids out to play all day and not having to worry about them. My siblings and I hardly came into the house during the day; of course we lived in Hawaii. Guess that could make a difference.
