This is my 3rd or 4th time trying to post this...

I read a lot more than I post, and what I post is mostly my own experiences with the occasional poke at someone who seems to take things too seriously.

On the whole, i've noticed that the CS posters who speak English as a second or third or more language do so better than many of those raised in the US. Leaving aside political and religious issues, most of the misunderstandings seem to come about because of the reader's perceptions or misperceptions of the poster's culture.

I try not to be rude to anyone, though I have been known to defend myself if attacked (which has not yet happened on CS) rather nastily.
