Getting your teeth done is brilliant for self esteem. I did the full hog, 2 years with braces but was definitely worth it.

I had that (lasik) done summer 2007. Never regretted it for a second. One of the best decisions I made. What an improvement in quality of life, to be able to see far without contacs (wore them for over 25 years, wrecked my eyes even more). Driving, watching telly, swimming.... it's heaven!
Now I only need glasses for reading, but that comes with age
Cosmetic work always looks fake imo. I think it's more cool to age gracefully.
