Hi Marina !!
i am curious also which languages we will all share! maybe we will be able to experiment and speak our languages with each other.....and if someone wants we can always give a brief idea in translation...or else we take it to private email when the need arises...

isn't this fun???

a new space!!

fresh energy and no karma!!! we can create something here something unique!!!

so my typing in Dutch is horrible and i will stick to english...

Hey there in Amsterdam... grin
yeah that what i was thinking too ... I can speak in Polish, of course Russian :^) There is the possibility to understand German and Swedish and yet My keyboard and Languages program I have on my computer does not allow me to communicate in all those 4 ......... So realisticly speaking I see the only English as an option. Pity!

I hope language will not be a barrier ... we will be patient and creative lol

Let's do it,people! Shall we?peace

I had this thought as well.

Maybe the reason why so few people post on the main site is that the language barrier to the non-English speakers is so great, that it kept people away.

Although English is the normal language of communication, only yourself, Lutz and a few others post in English.

I think this split might not have the desired effect.

But we live in eternal hope

I was thinking here ...

I do remember my own experience when my English was " sucks "

only "Yes", "No" and " How much?" level and i was in badly strangle to participate in a English speaking Forum ... sigh

Well I could not because there were so many idioms and different local slang in use ... i just made people laugh at me ... so left that idea whatsoever

peace

But now, you are just fine.

Even natural English speakers struggle with some of the slang from each region.

So, not a problem.

Your story reminds me of when I went to China ... we went into a restaurant and the waiter asked me "if I had a chicken in my pocket". OMG - it was too funny and I almost killed myself laughing.

Personally I think listening to someone speaking another language is wonderful ... yes they may make mistakes but its great that they are courageous enough to even try. And its so damn cute too when they do make the mistakes ... I think its part of the charm.
