Amenda: ...I found western man is really good at cooking.....most really wonderfull.....

It's true... most Americans that I've dated long-term genuinely enjoyed cooking and were quite good at it. Shopping for ingredients and then cooking and eating together is such a wonderful way to spend time with someone!!

Amenda: I'll post first here. a very easy way to get delicious chicken wings...

very easy: boil chicken wings in hot water for a while then wash them clean, then put some cold water in it, add one bottle coca cola and one spoon soysause... cook until very less soup in it...

you can eat it now.....

Awsome, as strange as adding coke sounds I agree.
I like cooking steak with coffee, coffee marinated steak especially lamd with garlic and basil is a favourite. (Not too strong a coffee/overpowering but just subtle), great post thumbs up

Just a thought, doesn't the tonic water defeat the purpose?

I'll take mine with a slice of lime, thank-you. After 3, or 4 of these lovely spirits you are 10 feet tall, and bullet proof. beer

The tonic is optional and down to individual choice on quantity.

After about three or four of my normal measures I usually forget the tonic and ice and go straight to warp factor 9 yay

According to Jeffrey Dharma, the thigh bone is rather quite tough but apparently he bit off more than he can chew. Apparently in China they call a 69er toocanchew or in metric version a 69er equals 1 8 1

henricus: I am about to fillet two black bream that I caught in a nearby river and have the fish for our evening meal. It is a simple recipe, where I beat an egg , dip the fish in it and then roll the fillets in spiced bread crumbs and fry in olive oil for two minutes each side. That, with fresh salad and maybe some potato chips , makes a simple meal.

wow Delicious!wine

My mother's recipe for "Picadillo"

1 kilo ground lean beef (2 pounds)
1 chopped garlic clove
1 small stick of cinnamon (powder will do)
700 gr Tomato pure (natural or canned 24 oz)
1 cup of raisins (yes raisins)
salt to taste

In a pot pour half cup of water bring it to boil
Add the salt (1 teaspoon or to taste)
add the chopped garlic clove
add the beef
Add the cinnamon
cook it until sligtly dry
add the tomato puré
add the raisins

A variation of this recipe can be to add raw cubed carrots and potato and some peas to cook with the meat.

Buen provecho!

De nada!
Picadillo goes with "chiles en vinagre" and tortillas but they might not be easy to find in some countries. I do make myself my own tortillas when I have friends over.

Please let me know how it did came out.
