Baked Ziti

1lb Ground Beef
26oz Can of Spaghetti Sauce
Small can Diced Tomatos
Small can of sliced Mushrooms
1 Medium Onion diced
1 Red Bell Pepper diced
1 Yellow Bell Pepper diced
1 Box of Ziti
Mozzarella Cheese grated

In large frying pan, brown ground beef with onion and peppers. Add sauce, diced tomatos and mushrooms.
In a large baking pan, mix sauce, 1 cup water and ziti together. Bake at 375 for 40 minutes and then spread cheese across the top and then bake until cheese starts to brown.
The ziti does not have to be cooked first as it will cook while being baked. This is what the 1 cup of water is for. If cooked before mixing with sauce, omit the cup of water

Steve5721: Put the frying pan the cooker, pour some oil into the pan, heat it up. Take an egg, crack it and tip into the pan.

Butter two slices of bread and when the egg is cooked...put it on one slice of bread, add salt and pepper then place the other slice over the egg...cut it in half...and viola, an egg sarnie!

great! I think I can cook this one!!!

Thank you....if I finish cooking it I'll tell you here....

Get yourself a large flat casserole dish ...peel some taters and slice them into chips thickness does not really matter...then butter the dish and add a few tater slices...then a few slices of onions broken up..sprinkle with flour..then cover the taters and onions with pork chops(the cheap ones are better for this)....cover the chops with more taters and onions..sprinkle with four ..add dabs of butter to the dish (don't be scared to put a good amount in)salt and pepper....then take some bread and break it up till the taters are cover with bread....now pour milk over the bread and be sure to wet all the bread with the milk ...the milk should be about half way up the dish...bake in the oven at 350 till the potatoes are soft and the bread is well browned.........I would advise to place a cookie pan under the dish in the oven to catch any boil over.....beer

Amenda: Abram, thanks for posting such a nice one but what's tilapia fillets pls? tell you the truth I never can cook fish....

But still thank Abram here for those who can learn to cook this delicious fish from Abram's post....

It does not cook in a pan, with heat, the lemon juice prepares the fish. Any type of white fish can be used, just fillet, remove any bones, cut into small cubes, and let it marinade with the other ingredients. I, at first, wonder if it would mean the fish was raw, not prepared to eat, but the lemon juice with the other ingredients prepares the fish to a tender, delicious meal.

This is not a recipe but more of a suggestion.

Use olive oil in place of other oils when possible. Adds a great flavour and its very healthy.

Pirateluvr: Hi Amenda

How long do I boil them for? Wash? Do you mean take the skin off? I need measurements I'm afraid

Here's a fast one for you and it's very tasty too

Shrimp 1 lb
Garlic 6 cloves
Paprika 1/2 Teaspoon
Lemon Pepper 1/2 teaspoon

Sautee the shrimp in Canola oil until cooked. Add spices. Sautee a bit longer. Eat

Personally I LOVE garlic so I put in tons of it.

RULE #1,,,you can never have too much garlic, and it's good for you.banana

Here's a nice easy snack when company is coming.
It's called a "Rollup"

Soften a block of Phila Cream Cheese to room temp.
add 1/2 cup cold milk in a mixing bowl
add chopped Jalapeno peppers, remove the seeds unless you like it HOT, chop into small size and blend in.
Chop green and/or black olives ,amount to taste, and blend in
You can add other things like chopped Ham, Prosciutto, or chicken.
when blended, spread onto large tortilla and roll up.
Put into the freezer until nearly frozen, remove and cut into half to one inch circles and serve. The batch will serve about
10 people assuming there are other things too.

Amenda I love your thread. It is fun and I laugh hard when I read it. Thank you

Thank you for telling me how much ingredients I put in. I'm learning to cook in different ways but it's like learning all over again.

Your English is getting better applause

I understand now that some of the foods we eat you do not have so I have put a link here that will let you substitute or replace some foods with others that you are able to get?

~alden/Oils.html

Canola oil: You can use corn oil, safflower or soybean

Classic Strawberry Smoothie

8 fresh or frozen strawberries, stems out
½ cup low fat milk
½ cup vanilla low-fat yogurt

6 ice cubes, crushed
whole fresh strawberries

In a blender combine ingredients. Toss in ice. Blend until smooth and Creamy. Pour into glasses. Top each glass with a whole fresh strawberry. Makes 2 servings.
