Are a lot of men put off by women having kids? I have one son aged 7 who goes to his dad every wednesday and every 2nd weekend so I do have some sort of 'life'....but have been chatting to a couple of blokes on here since I joined up last week and as soon as I mention that I have my son most nights, they seem to disappear.

Opinions please.

i get the same, im in the same boat as you,

to be honest i tink the only option to go for is to try find someone who has kids because they know the whole routine of how it goes, it is hard though,

but to the OP i dont find im put off but then again i can relate so i dont think my opinion counts on this subject,

hope u find someone teddybear

No problem with it myself.
I must admit, when I first joined, I did skip the people who had kids when I was looking around till I remembered that one of my best friends has a kid and I wouldn't expect anyone to treat HER differently. In fact, I'd be openly hostile if anyone did.
It makes it harder, sure. There's no calls of "lets meet now". A bit more preplanning is involved but like L said. If someone likes YOU then they'll respect you enough to know that they won't come first. The kids will always come first and maybe one day, you can work yourself up to second place.
grin
Some people don't mind the extra effort if the girl is worth it.

So far so good for you. I suspect as a young Mum you`ll have little time for guys who cant, wont or have challenges around dating a women with kids. There are a lot of guys on here who do have kids and understand the love, joy and committment. If they disappear, relish in it handshake and hold out for the good un. They are there....here even laugh

You serious? Not a good situation, I'd say it happens a good bit, daddies don't like another guy moving into their "world"
