Steve5721: That is the main fear Dandelion...the fear of rejection and when it does happen once or twice, it makes men think about the next time.

Of course, Steve! I understand that..... BUT with a different woman? So, therefore..... DIFFERENT, yes?!

cheers

Yes love...different woman indeed...BUT if it's the same result..a 'piss off' sort of thing, then the difference is zero!

Some men, when they have been rejected a few times kind of 'worry' about asking a girl out again.

Different women but SAME result? confused

Well, as women are not all the same, I conclude there must be something in the type of woman that's perceived as attractive enough to ask out? The common demoninator is the man doing the asking...?!
dunno

Therefore, one needs to be a little more selective, perhaps?

cheers

wannasettledown: very true, Ive never been rejected when asking a woman out but have been rejected on dating sites, it is very humiliating :-(

Wouldnt worry to much about the dating sites amigo ,,personality is very difficult to put over on these things ,,

Did go out though with a nice female off a site ,,she was just back from 30yrs living in Oz in the outback {West Side} and frightened the life out of me telling me about all the little crawley creatures that live in the outback laugh spiders and all sorts ,they probably kill yea iff thet got hold of us laugh

I think the need for women to ask men out is maybe limited. It seems women are quite adept at letting a man they are attracted to know to a point where he does the asking. The only problem is women lose track of what a bunch of knuckleheads we are and send signals that are to subtle. Getting his attention: errrrr medium size framing hammer will do the trick.professor

That's the danger of these subtle signs...men have trouble in reading them when they are too subtle, just as you say Bob!
