I made that decision in '77 and have been travelling around the world since. No pension in it but I can highly recommend it.

I wouldn't change a thing!! I am happy with my life and if I had not made the decisions I made, then I wouldn't have the children I have, or be where I am today..
I have made mistakes along the way, but that was a learning process, and has only made me stronger!
Its a tough old world out there.no dought there were hardships along the way,or as you put it(learning curves),but you got though it ,plus bringing up a family. who i should imagin are very proud of their mother ,them knowing all the efforts you made to be where you are today.I admire that.....peter

At my age changing ones life style,becomes near impossible.Im still a fulltime carer for my 95 yr old mother.so my social is somewhat limited .its acase of someone changing my life. knowing my circumstaces ,most woman would shy away .this is somthing i will have to live with.Zellarrone1: Okay, and we'll have a houseboatwarming party when it's finished
