mariola: I would have said something simular but I have to be nice to GM from today on....... I always try to be nice to people.

So used another method to expose him for the GenuineMale that he is.
Ja, one thing you cannot do on the internet .. is to plaguerise other authors works. Too many people know too much, have travelled, read, interacted ... and also ..... there are also many professionally qualified folk here who don`t laud their qualifications!

GenuineMale: LEATHER Wallet? Have you seen the price of leather here in Spain? I have used old socks for years now and there is nothing wrong with that method. I colour code, red for Euros, green for 50 cent pieces and so on. Shopkeepers are amazed, it never fails and they call their colleagues over and they all laugh and roll around the floor as they obviously feel it is a wonderful idea and why has nobody else thought of it before.

Naturally I short change them as they have so many tears in their eyes they are not able to carry out their job function at all.

It is all just life experience and the need to survive.

My yellow sock is due to be replaced, has anyone got one that they are throwing out?

taff1: Can't believe you tried to dupe people like that, as if you truly wrote it!!! I will negate you always, you disgust me!!! Why would you be such a moron and misdirect people like that?? SICK SICK PUPPY!!!

I do sometimes feel that I have landed on a new planet with strange people that jump to very wrong conclusions and feel proud of themselves.

I like Mariola received the mail, thought it wonderful and shared it with my friends on my e-mail address book. Had great mails back as they appreciated the writing very much. NOT ONE OF THEM THOUGHT I HAD WRITTEN IT MYSELF. In fact if you come down to earth a moment you should read it all very slowly and you may actually spot that not anywhere in that verse is there any reference to the author.

I wanted to share it with CS "friends" so did just that. I did not say I wrote it, I just launched it. I have to admit that up to joining CS I have alwasy been aware there are strange people about, but boy am I still learning.

Shame on you and anybody else who has taken the same stance, completely foolish.

Had I been able to write such a wonderful verse that may or may not have gone over your head, I would not have put my name to it. I would have thought it did not require that. These sort of verses are to be enjoyed and not used to knock people with. What are you thinking? I say shame again on you and people like you. It is perhaps people like you who should feel they are on the wrong site.

You profess to being a writer so naturally people here are going to think you wrote it. You should have made it clear to Smoky when she replied to your post.

I feel sorry for you, trying to impress. Why don't you try for once to just be honest ?

Oh thanks, that was nice reading!

Ja, old age is a gift. For sure.

My brother didn`t live to old age, he died when he was 54.

My one nephew also didn`t live to old age, he was shot in the head, executioner style, with his hands tied behind his back,at the side of the road, during the night, when he was 21 ..... his wedding was to take place the following Saturday.

His mother also did not reach old age, she died of a heart attack shortly after his death...I think she was in her early 50`s... it broke up her marriage and scattered her family.

I had a little nephew who died when he was two years old, he choked on his vomit, quietly, sitting in a rocking chair in the farmhouse kitchen.

Is it a priviledge to live to "old age"? ... I think it`a miracle, in this day and age ......

For me, old age is when I hit 70 ... only 7 years to go! I guess I will be forced to finally wear a one-piece bathing costume? .. and give up dancing on the barcounter..?

Right then, now I have replied to all the people who have slated me for trying to share with you some philosophy that I thought you would all appreciate, well some of you did until Mariola in her underhanded way attempted to "expose me" as she assumed I wanted people to think I had written it as did Smoky although I did not put any addition on and launched it exactly as I had received it via an e-mail.

I looked carefully at the various options open as to what subject to launch it on and decided that Religion, Spirituality and Philosophy would be the right one.

Whatever subject I had chosen would have had the same result I can only assume.

My conclusion is that I am not on the same wavelengths at all to many people on this site, for whatever reason.

I am out.

First the forum threads and for personal reasons not immediately the CS site.

Oh, I thought YOU said "old age is a gift".

Who wants a gift if it gives you wrinkles....? ..and makes hair grow where hair is not supposed to grow ... and no hair where hair is supposed to be ...... and funny shaped toe-nails ..... and changes the shape of your face ...... And you supposed to go shop in shops where teenagers dont shop...?.... all because you been here a long time? Nah, that^s not a gift.

But, maybe it is, and we just gotta figure out what part of it is the gift? .. Oh yes.... patience, and being able to talk to kids and to actually listen to what they say, without being too busy not to hear what they saying....... And to appreciate things like bugs in a glass, the importance of their clothing, and not allowing them such close-ups of one`s wrinkled face and not pinching their cheeks and saying "Oh my you are SO cute!" (They HATE THAT!)

One thing seriously ..... people are astute, they are NOT fools, and you cannot fool them. That is something, if you stick around long enough, you will find out. The folk here are Communicators, and they quick to suss out if you not communicating honestly.

There is nothing NATURAL about people on CS, I have read it between the lines a lot over the months and there you go again Mariola, saying I profess to be a writer. I stated it from the very first day I joined CS on my profile as I felt people should know I write as it is very time comsuming and I would not give it up to make more time for a new friend.

Why would I do so, to impress people you obviously believe. Impress them for what reason? So we end up feeling sorry for each other? I reject your saying you are sorry for me Mariola, I need your compassion like a bad headache.

What makes it actually worse for you as a person is that you felt happy that you could "expose" me. How sad! How terribly sad that you could get a kick out of that. You could have sent me a personal message if you felt that strong and advised me that you and other people may think that I pretended to have written it. A decent way of enabling me to have immediately put a note out to state what you knew. I do not think or believe you and I are the only people on CS that will have received that verse per e-mail, but obviously they are not nasty minded.

As I have already said as from now this very second

I am out

Now .. if the man would have let me have his birthdate and year of birth I could have written out his Zodiac astrology thingy and we could all have known everything about him, without bothering the poor chap!.. and getting himself into a huff over nothing!

Juslaaik, I used to plaguerise authors until I learned not to, and to respect writings I did not invent ...... if I took a sulk when I was caught out and wrapped over the knuckles, lucky it never got as far as my bank account ...... I`d still be sitting in the toilet crying ......

I don't think I have said or implied I am happy. I mentioned I had received the same verse from a friend. The rest is history.

Stupid me!

I thought that GM had banged his head or something and changed.
I was even going to compliment him on his post.

It is a pity that he is going off again. His staying on would have been a reminder of what characters are out there. Now he is going underground and we may let our defences down.
