Thsi mroning on Fox News ......they had a panel discussing the pay rates for city adminsitration and the public's outrage over it. The city manager making $800k/yr and Police Chief $500k/yr.
Then they have retirement packages that guarantee them 75% of that income for life. Sounds good huh ?

Well, Fox News people actually suggested "Cap and Cut" those public officials salaries ! Can you beleive that ?
This contradicts everything Republicans have been prefessing about leaving business alone, higher pay attracts better qualified people, and self regulation, etc etc etc etc .... roll eyes

If the wind is blowing...Republicans are riding on it .....even if it is 180 degrees in contradiction doh

When are Republicans gonna stick to one set of principles ? dunno

You like over paid gov't officials?

How does a city manager of ...a city of 30,000.....get $800,000 salary? Were is the gov't oversight? Were is the gov't regulation of self control?

I know they are all concerned about civilian corporation leaders...of billion dollar firms making that kind of money.

But please don't let FOX speak on the issue. Kick them out of media business. Shut them up. Let NBC and CNN be the watch dogs of the gov't local state and Federal.

Down here we have pit bulls with real teeth that patrol junk yards. there is a reason for that. You want the toughest god on the block doing the patrolling. Just in case the bad guys have a tough dog of their own.

You want the toughest group of media SOBs being watch dogs of the gov't. Am sorry having Katie Curic as a tough watch dog of the Obama gov't. Is not what I call tough media.

More deregulation (so they can rip off their employees) No government-run health care (so they can use those employees and throw them away if they get hurt on the job) A No-Obama-in-the-white-house agenda (we all loved Bush after all) The total shut down of the southern border (even though the drugs and terrorists get in from the northern borderlaugh )
A total lax of regulations on Wall Street (so the middle class CAN finally become a thing of the past) A preemptive war on Iran (It's always good for revenues and good old fashion patriotism)

Okay, I'm done grin

You need to go back and study what really happened. Did you forget on two separate occasions Bush and McCain both introduced legislation to reform banking AND predicted this would happen if they didn't...AND that both bills were unanimously voted down by a party line vote from the Dems?
doh doh

Now can you explain that to me Juan?

You provided a link to the actual news story but nothing to the panel discussion so I couldn't see who was on the panel.

On Fox, at the top and bottom of every hour is news. No comment analysis but straight unbiased news. Then between, they have Beck, Limbaugh along with a few left wing types like Colmes and all.

When a panel discusses something it is made up of half right and half left types to provide a more balanced and panoramic input to the situation being discussed.

I suggest that the complaint you have was with one of the left types saying this. If not, can you provide the makeup of the panel and who uttered their wishes to have the salaries capped?

I looked for about ten minutes and didn't find it on Fox so thought that since you are the guy who is trying to say it occurred, you might have it but in nay case, I do know that Fox balances out it's discussion panels with half right and half left so this comment could and probably was, from a left wing type so you make much ado about nothing.

jvaski: You should know to watch your own news show to keep up to date

I do however, we are here speaking of this and, since I seem to know more than you about the subject as I certainly don't have to invent facts and all, I might be able to contribute in various ways.

And, I suggest that possibly, if my presence her offends you, you find another forum to post on as this one is an international one.

Ta.
