ICKLEwarrington, Cheshire, England UK50 Threads 905 PostsNot that I am complaining (well I suppose I am in a way) but everyday I get flowers or messages from the International Connectingsingles site and yet I have never had any on the UK one, I just wondered why
I think some people think that they can only send one if they want to go further and not simply a kind gesture to a nice person, and the same with messaging too. I have recieved flowers just to say thanks and also messages. I think there must be a communication problem with a lot of uk people, or we are a shy breed, well some of us anyway. 
They keep hearing exiting stories about western women and some think that life here is just like those glossy magazine covers . I guess they are writing to people in those glossy covers . Men over here live with the truth . There is no gloss anywhere .

Come on guys whats it come too when a lady has to ask for flowers, go on they wont bite, or will if your lucky.
Well I asked this question on the International Forum but I'd like your take on why I am receiving loads of flowers from Maltese guys, and I do mean on a daily basis....

No idea, it was so long ago that I was there and was married at that time.
One unsatisfied lady is putting stimulant in the drinking water supply . Once you have located the region let me know . I would take a two week holiday staying there and we can all see the result for ourselves .

this is getting silly now.. just had a bunch from young men..26 I mean c'mmon im 57 for gawds sake .. my son is 34 .. what would i do with someone so young? teach them to read and write?????
As long as the guy is polite then I will reply to his flower with a "Thank you" and see where it goes from there, whether they are older, younger, English or foreign.

My only rule of thumb is - if they pick a line from that drop-down menu then that's a blue mark (like a black mark, but not as bad). If a guy can't think of anything to say then where's the conversation going to go ???
