Rules.....
1) You have to have personally suffered at the hands of America. 2) You have to explain the nature of the suffering and how it happened. 3) Americans.... Give people who comply with rule 1 and 2 a big hug.
We Americans, apologize in advance on this thread for all your personal suffering at our hands, real or imagined. Go ahead. Vent. Let it loose. Don't let all that suffering fester inside you like that. We care about your well being, so let it out. We'll listen with sympathetic ears to your tales of woe.
Thank you for your understanding.
Let the bashing begin.
You know if I started on that I wouldn't have enough room, I'd be banned from CS for expletives and assassinated by the CIA I love the US and Americans! Just not your politics and justice system (oximoron)
hotburninluv: All the USA bashing is done already for US....its by President OBOWBA!!!!!! ...IF HE REALLY LOVES OUR COUNTRY...HE WOULDN'T BE BASHING IT THE WAY THAT HE DOES!!!
He's bowing down to every foreign country leader that will listen to him!!...BASHING the USA....APOLIGIZING for the USA FOR THIS AND THAT...PEOPLE FORGET THAT AMERICA ALONE IS ONE OF THE MOST COMPASSIONATE NATIONS THAT EVER EXISTED!!!
You what some more bashing... how about his Wife Michelle, before her husband was elected President, was heard saying she didn't like this country...well, those words have changed since then. She now taking a LAVISH VACATIONS to Spain on the Taxpayers dole, while American are scrambling to find a job in their country just to feed their hungry children. How do you like that, spending money in a foreign ecomony (Spain), rather than where it is really needed in the American ecomony. GO FIGURE!
Republicans who don't like who the majority of voters chose in their democracy sure do whinge profusely.
Alone? Compassionate? Sure you gave us some new words 'Waterboarding' and 'Extraordinary Rendition' to add to the international dictionary of compassion.

You're welcome. Americans really do have a very deep sense of fairness and compassion. That can be a hard thing to try to merge and work with in a world that can be as brutal as this one is, though. If you've been wronged or hurt, you do have my honest apology. Actually, my own family has suffered from decisions made by the American government since a lot of them still reside impoverished in Cuba. America simply can't be all things to all people even though I feel we would try very hard if it was possible.

Of course "beheading" came into our lexicon...Courtesy of Iraq.
I'd probably opt for the waterboarding. But that's just me.
I've only met a few Americans face to face, and they were lovely, I've met more arseholes in my block!!! As for bashing the US, I feel we need to look a bit closer to home, before going overseas!!

You should live a few years in Kansas, I'm sure you'd change your tune
menu2: Can you prove Obambi is a naturalized citizen born in the U.S?
Barack H. Obama is the 44th President of the United States.
His story is the American story — values from the heartland, a middle-class upbringing in a strong family, hard work and education as the means of getting ahead, and the conviction that a life so blessed should be lived in service to others.
With a father from Kenya and a mother from Kansas, President Obama was born in Hawaii on August 4, 1961. He was raised with help from his grandfather, who served in Patton's army, and his grandmother, who worked her way up from the secretarial pool to middle management at a bank.
After working his way through college with the help of scholarships and student loans, President Obama moved to Chicago, where he worked with a group of churches to help rebuild communities devastated by the closure of local steel plants.
He went on to attend law school, where he became the first African—American president of the Harvard Law Review. Upon graduation, he returned to Chicago to help lead a voter registration drive, teach constitutional law at the University of Chicago, and remain active in his community.
President Obama's years of public service are based around his unwavering belief in the ability to unite people around a politics of purpose. In the Illinois State Senate, he passed the first major ethics reform in 25 years, cut taxes for working families, and expanded health care for children and their parents. As a United States Senator, he reached across the aisle to pass groundbreaking lobbying reform, lock up the world's most dangerous weapons, and bring transparency to government by putting federal spending online.
He was elected the 44th President of the United States on November 4, 2008, and sworn in on January 20, 2009. He and his wife, Michelle, are the proud parents of two daughters, Malia, 12, and Sasha, 9.

ttom500: We could do a back channel US bashing thread....but it be so quiet....no one would read it.
Yes, what would be the fun of that? Maybe if everyone gets their fill of it in this thread, we won't hear so much of it everywhere else. This thread is like the dumpster. Just toss it all in here instead of leaving the garbage everywhere. Then when everyone's done, it just gets carted off to the next page and it's all nice and fresh and clean. :)
