We've known each other for years, attended many functions together, volunteered together, but we never really sat down and talked about our personal situations and when we did, we discovered that we had more in common than just our dedication to our causes and what we stand for, not to mention all the knock down drag out fights we've had(no, not really physical fights).
Now, we get that the reason for all the fights was because we were both too stubborn to admit that we were really into each other, but didn't want to admit it. We thought that it would ruin a fabulous friendship to take it a step further. Well..last night, we took it a step further and went on a date and it was all about us and not because we were just going out to make it a couples thing at an event.
We both thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. We still fought. but it was over our differing opinions on different subjects and even laughed about how we're still able to keep the friendship intact while now being able to show how we feel about each other and not get uptight about it.
