i found out my on line date gave my number to a friend to anonymously call me.my date finally admitted .his excuse was he wanted to make sure im a one man woman
I'm sorry but that just sounds inexcusable. I'd ditch the guy before you get further involved. He's suspicious of you, so he gives your number to a stranger you don't know? What will he do the next time he's suspicious, try to beat the truth out of you? The guy's a loser. Dump him.

totally agree with that... Sounds like insecurity to me and that can lead to possesive / obsessive behaviour...Not something you really want in your life..

Been on the receiving end of that once. It is not healthy for a relationship

do you really want to date such a immature person. Sound like his momma is still tucking him at night.

I've had similar problems in the past...I'm very cautious about giving my no. out,and keep a cheap phone and separate sim card,in case I decide to give my no. Which I can also switch off if I have any problems.

He might have lost interest and decided to pass you off to a friend rather than tell you outright. Whether it's the truth he told you or a lie it's equally bad. You could be wise and dump him like yesterday's trash or give him your bank account numbers and see what happens next. If you get serious with him and live together, he WILL have access to that info.

A responsible person will ALWAY'S ask first before giving out personal info. If I'm asked to give out somebody's number I tell them to give me their number to pass on to the person whose number their asking for and that person will contact them if they are interested. I have a phone number block feature on my phone for those who manage to get my number and shouldn't have it and I don't answer calls with caller number hidden.
