Im curious to hear the thoughts of all Single parents out there that are on the dating scene.

Ladies, do you find it hard to trust men when first start dating? Do you think its easier if you are introduced via friends rather than just meeting?

Gents, do you mind dating women with children from a previous relationship? Those that have done so, did you find it hard to get your lady to open to you as she was cautious etc..?

Any thoughts are welcome.wave

Trust is not an issue for me. I suppose meeting someone through a friend provides a little bit of comfort, safety wise as they already know them, so hopefully he is an all right kinda guy

I'm really new to this but have spoken to a couple of men who seem really genuine. However the majority of emails I have had seem to be from men that think I'm only looking for commitment because of my kids. I don't want marriage - yet anyway - and certainly not from the 1st email rolling on the floor laughing

I'm not sure that I would be anymore trustful of meeting a friend of a friend than meeting someone online then getting to know them before meeting up. I would hope when I meet someone new they will take me for who I am but be understanding of the fact that my kids will always be a consideration in my decisions uk
