Yes, was a sad day for sure...

However... I do get upset over how because it happneded to the USA we all must remember it to the extreme... Every month there are this many or MORE people killed in wars/terrorist attacks elsewhere, but because that did not happen on USA soil there are no REMEMBERANCES all over TV each year.

Lets QUIETLY bow our heads for those who died in 911 and any other type of war or terrorist attack.

NOW... please do not get that wrong in any way. i moarn for the victims and the families... but... We need to stop humoring the US and the way some of them think THEY ARE THE ONLY ONES WHO MATTER on this planet... ALL HUMAN LIFE IS PRECIOUS... PERIOD

Not to sound condesending or to minimize what you have said. Yes there are many who are killed each day as a result of wars and terrorism and yes it is wrong all the way around.

Do you have any idea what the Towers stood for or what they held?

I do and that's why this day is a tragic loss to everyone. I don't just say this because it affected me personally either, but I know what those towers meant and what they held.

Thank you. And yes, we, most of us do think and feel sad at what is going on in the world today. I feel so sad and scared just to think of what so many in other parts of the world are going through as we speak.. I believe in GOD and prayer,as I do this often for not only us (Americans) but for people and countries in such unrest and with so much violence and more. I in my own way, grieve for lives lost tragically and for no reason. But, as far as my loyalty. It is to my country and it's people. Now that doesn't mean that I don't care. I will cry if my brother dies. But I probably won't cry if a neighbor's brother down the street dies. There lies the differences between my American brothers and sisters and my relationship with others somewhere else. Memorialize here, in my opinion, yes. Remember what is happening to others somewhere else? An astounding yes.peace thumbs up

I think you need a slight history lesson as well as a lesson on debates. The History lesson is in the thread "Do You Really Know What Today Is About?"

As for the debate well let's take it out here to the forums where it belongs instead of in email and let's see who is truly being ignorant about 9/11, politics, wars and life in general very mad

I don't play games when it comes to my knowledge of History or Politics.

so many die everyday, but our soil is native ground, and we should be here taken care of it and not in the middle of a towel head dispute, we should protect others that need it only if they want it, God Blesswink
