Did I hear correctly that she told her parents that she was going out for a while at midnight? If so what kind of parents think it's ok for a 12 year old to be out at that time

That's what it said on the news .... so, so sad .... she was only just about to start secondary school

Heard that alright, I cant help but blame her parents, she came home before midnight and at 12 she said she was going out for a few minutes, any good parent in their right mind would put the foot down and say your going nowhere but your bed missy but its a case of shudda wudda cudda

It's dreadful. For some reason being 12 really sticks out in my mind ... it's an exciting time for a kid .... you are still a child really but you know you are on the cusp of something bigger. And the excitement about starting secondary school .... God love her

My thoughts exactly!!! A 12 year old is still a little girl and should have been tucked up in her bed at that time.

I'm bawling here ... it could be the morphine ... but I just think HOW truly awful. They said some of her clothes were missing. She must have been so frightened

dont think its fair at all to speculate about her parents yet think they should have support at this time not blame

It does sound strange but maybe she was going to talk to someone trusted, could of been about anything we dont know the facts ! how sad

all the facts arent in yet...i dont think casting the blame does anyone any good...this is a terrible thing to have happened and my heart goes out to both family's as im sure yours does too. may she rest in peace
