The easiest way is with a 4 inch sharp nail and a hammer and place the nut on a towel - Pierce each of the three indentations invert it and drain into a suitable clean container. Then to spilt it afterwards use the towel to wrap the nut in, then whack it with the hammer until you get the sized pieces you want.

Thanks H .. I'll try that .. I usually drop the coconut on concrete to crack it open and lose the milk in the process

I forgot you were in Italy and are Metric - So its 100mm Nail and a 1Kg Hammer
