By now I really don’t even care. But I was curious if you have ever even been there and know anything of what you comment on. You did post, “I will not dispute what you have said, because i wasn't there and i don't know...I can only go by what i have read and what is "folklore"...”

Guess you missed “a cab driver”, and read “all cab drivers”. And hey, I was as surprised as anyone when I saw the reactions of some, and what I was told by others.

Recalling personal experiences isn’t stereotyping, except to those who want to try to read that sort of thing into it.

When I was threatened by the Bajans with their black magic, I just laughed in their face, literally as I found it hysterical, and told them my “white magic” could stomp out anything they threw at me. The looks of shock, horror and fear on their faces was priceless.

The majority of voo doo is nothing more that “psyching out” the victim. And no, I am not saying that all that hooey about gypsies cursing people is any more valid. Steven King’s “Thinner” was completely ridiculous.

Me first job was workin with the carnies at the fair attending those rip off games like shoot three hoops and get a teddy bear for your sweetheart....and ring the bottle with those conveniently small shaped rings ect. ect.

Was fun as hell and they wanted me to travel with them and continue working the different cities they visited....so I did and I had a freaking blast.

Reguardless of what some peeps may say about them...they were some of the coolest people I ever had the pleasure of knowing.

about 90% of them were true blue gypsies.

So I guess you could consider me one to at heart.
