I'd suggest anything from the creative line - I've had a creative zen for nearly 5 years now and its never given me a seconds bit of trouble in the least - its always been tough and reliable and amazingly there isn't even scratches on the screen despite it floating in pockets with coins, keys, etc - a totally awesome product that's gained not a single complaint or regret from me!

thumbs up

I put my daughters one through the washing cycle (accidentally) and then through the tumble dryer (also accidentally) and only found the thing as I ironed over it in the pocket.

It still works!listen to music

I'm happy with my Ipod. I have a load of music on the PC(35,000 tracks at the last count) and Itunes is the best way to organise them anyway.

They are amazingly tough little things. I usually try to be fairly careful with it but over time accidents do happen. Its been dropped alot of times and pulled off deaks (darn cats and dangling wires - they just can't ignore them!) and its never had issues or gotten damaged - good to know it can survive the spin cycle and a tumble dry aswell! yay

Or else you can nab any song you want from You Tube and transfer it to iTunes.

Not that I'm advocating anything like that of course laugh
