Yes, O'Shea deserved to be carded but i think it would have been harsh to send him off since the liverpool player probably wouldnt have got on the end of it anyway. It looked to me like the ball was getting away from him and Van der Sar had it covered. For me it was six of one and half a dozen of the other. Some Referees might send O'Shea off and some wouldn't.

Having said that, If you are actually neutral as you claim to be then i think you have to give credit where credit is due. Berbatove played particularly well today i thoughts fortunate not to be sent off but Berbatov deserved his hat-trick. I thought him and Nani played particularly well today. United had more possession, more attempts and almost twice as many attempts on goal as Liverpool and had actually twice as many on target.

Stats mean nothing. Liverpool did equally well to come back into the math. And were robbed by a refereeing decision. End of
