marc62: It happens every now and then, also with providers other than Yahoo. It's a way spammers use to trick the spam filters.
The email spam comes from someone you know and it has a link in it. I have never opened the link but somehow it went thru my contact list and sent mail to everyone like it was coming from me.
Watch where you shop and use your debit or credit card. Some of these store clerks have a very good memory, and can memorize your card number and use it against you.
Here is another trick that they use. They have a hidden camera above the credit machine in the store that can read your credit card number when swiped.

I always pay with cash whereever I shop so they won't be skimming my bank account.
