venusenvy: Gosh I had no idea this thread would take off. I thought it gacked and died last night. This is really informative. I hope it gives women the courage to approach a man when they are attracted. To take a chance on love instead of letting it walk away.
...have not really read any posts here....but happened to read this last one of yours....
...one should always leave all options open....even if sometimes you may make a fool of yourself....still....never leave your inner voice go unheard....
...if eyes meet....if a photo appeals....if a comment rings bells....just say so...do so....go for it....
...if it turns out you were wrong....keep on going....no loss...
Im learning a lot here. For example just how many sweet beautiful men there really are on this site. Its fun to pick your brains and learn how romantic you truly are. Its giving me the confidence to make the first move when I know I havent in the past. Im sure like a lot of ladies. Im glad you guys dont think its unfeminine as thats something I cherish about myself. You man truly are a special lot.
O! by "Hunk" I mean hunka hunka burnin love Baby...which really describes the men on here to a tee.
Can I ask all you hunky C/S men a question? Yes Bbut be prepared for not too many serious or coherent answers in mind-warping techniques upon which to base a socio-anthrpological study for a dissertaion on gender studies

...there is a major issue here on which you seem only now to begin to realize....
...it really is not up to the man to decide you know...always has...and always will be the woman's prerogative in the mating game...the yes or the no depends entirely on the woman's decision...
...the only thing that must be done correctly....is to make him think it was him that made the kill.....simple macho ego stroking...fairly easy to do actually....

It came up in a disscusion on gender equality. I feel fair is fair...but some women feel its somehow unfeminine. Thats why I decided to take it to the source and ask the men. This is 2010. As for stroking men....well thats a whole other topic

hehehehehehehe....
...in your case....other women don't matter....am sure it is the man you are after.....
After reading all the comments, I'm surprised that the thread evolved so positive, most of you guys are obviously never been asking out by a woman, which is very surprising for me, and apparently many women have not asked a man out, whatever the reason could be.. the stereotype behavior? I did it always in the past, asking men out means for me, to have a drink together, or go to the theater,.. for me it is a natural phenomenon, without scruples or prejudices, I don't like to use the word 'date' For me is that word exaggerated and overloaded for the simple fact when you asked someone out for a drink, dinner or whatever it could be, it has nothing to do with dating..You just like to be in the company of that particular man,the bottom line is we do it because we like the person we asked out, we love to know them better.. it is a normal reaction for both men and woman..
This is how my Daughter( 22 years old) describes "Dating"... Dating..playing the field.."communication" same thing its key word in dating "date" and date is a time "you're dating" someone it could be a one time thing it could be a re-occurring thing you could be dating 1 person you could be dating 5 people...getting to know each other there might come a point you find someone you want to move forward with and thats on a different plateau...
Ive been pleasantly surprised too Serp. I hope everyone of these big ole hunks gets asked out by a lovely lady. I hope this encourages more ladies to ask men out.
