I have never drunk alcohol, never liked the taste, but i am the first one to but someone a drink.I dont have a problem with people who have a drink. I can enjoy the night without one.
I never had a drink. I had about 5 sips. Since I was born a diabetic I didn't want to drink. If I get lucky just to get a date I'll buy them thier drinks, as long as they don't get smashed.
I do not drink either, and can enjoy myself without makeing a fool of my self. Many women today are happy with a man that dosen't drink, but i have no problem with a woman takeing a drink.

Ok Fun4, you get the car keys...
I have a question, you are not the first person to state that you do not like the taste of alcohol. Pure alcohol is, I believe, tasteless. So, what was your first introduction to it? As I feel that must 'colour' people's opinions. Don't get me wrong, I don't have a problem with people who don't drink, I'm just interested why that is.

When i was very young,i had a sip of different things that were in the house, thought it tasted revolting, and had no interest after that.I was about 8 at the time.Growing up,seeing many people lose control of themselves, i am quite pleased really, because being in control of myself is important to me.That is only a side issue, the fact i dont like the taste of it,is the real reason.

That's very young at 8! But lots of things are an 'aquired taste'. I hated olives and anchovies and fresh coriander when I first tried them. Have you ever tried alcohol since?

(PM me if you prefer).
During my life,i have tasted the odd thing by dipping my finger in it,but to be honest,i dont like it,and it never enters my mind wanting to like it. I know its an aquired taste, but as i am happy enough without it,then i have no interest in "perserveering"

LouiseDreaming: Silly is ok, and often amusing.
The rest of your list I agree is a no-no
I like a drink, but don't get drunk, to much alchohol just makes me stupid (moreso) but tipsy is fine. With anyone I dated I would like them to be the same, I have had problems with partners who get drunk.

Thats what i dont like. This evening,i popped into a good rock bar, there was a live group on.The Atmosphere was great, everyone enjoying themselves.I was "wiggling my bum",and a very attractive British woman came over and asked me to dance with her.She was absoluetly stoned.(no comments please!).Instant turn off.Had she not been,i would have enjoyed the dance, and getting to know her. Also embarressing,as the Spanish dont behave like that, and not many British go there, thats why i go.

Giving them vodka instead might be the answer to that!
