wouldnt say im good friends with any of my exs and to be honest had there not being a death in my family i wouldnt have talked to them again but thats the way it goes. even with how nasty the break up was with one of them i do still wish him to be happy and i know he is happy with his new girl

There was a stage where I wished every bad thing to happen to my
ex, I wanted him to die of a slow and painful death the way he
treated me but now I just dont care what happens to him anymore,
He means nothing to me now so even if I heard he died there would
be no feelings at all, I would shrug my shoulders and carry on
with what I was doing, I`m numb to him now

i think regardless of how you break up and what feelings you seem to think you dont have you would be affected by something like him dying. im not saying it would always be sadness but for some people where it was say a violent relationship i think relief may be something they ould feel. they were part of your life and depending on how long they were around they may have helped make you into the person you are today JMO

I agree with you completely and will this...
every relationship normally starts with love and caring...okay life and people's behaviour can change that....but I do think you are right, no matter how bad things get I think most people would feel something and probably think of the "love" they once had!
maybe I have my rose tinted glasses on today
maybe I just haven't been "hurt enough"
but I do try and take some good thoughts from all my relationships

salanky: the way i see it is you were in it and enjoyed it at some point or you wouldnt have let it happen so even if out of 100 memories theres only one good its still one good memory
