I went to Visit a friend 5 times in hospital last week and the woman in the next bed seemed to be a mental patient. She kept screaming "Lord please let me die". She had no visitors. The staff on the ward were very busy with her. They had to drug her repeatedly to send her asleep and give the other "inmates" and their visitors some restbite. My friend signed herself out the day after her surgery.Is this a ploy by the HSE to cut the waiting list. In 3 days the bed opposite her had 5 different sufferers come and go.
