There is no global warming to stop.
The world is not warmer than normal.
If anything it's cooler than normal.
There have been a lot of ice ages when the temperature was much colder than now and there have been a lot of warm periods when the temperature was much warmer than now.
This chart is for the last million years.
Notice that the present is nowhere near the maximum. This refutes Gore's claim that the last few years were the hottest in earth's history.
Climate changes all the time. It's always either warming or cooling.
There is no reason at all to think that man has anything to do with warming of the climate. And there is not even enough evidence to say that the climate is warming at all.
In fact, since 1998 the climate has been cooling.
But, despite the cooling of the last few years, since the end of the little ice age it has been warming.
But despite the warming of the last century, since the medieval warm period, it has been cooling.
All that to say that variation is normal.
Temperatures are normal.
There is no climate crisis at all.
Just a big scam by people who want our money.

Here's something interesting.
Take another look at that graph of the last million years.
Notice that once a glacial period ends, the temperature rises rapidly and it almost always continues to rise well beyond the present state.
This explains why the scammers dropped their initial claims of global cooling and switched to global warming. Statistically speaking there is a strong probability that the earth will indeed continue to warm for quite some time. But it's not due to manmade CO2. It's just the natural cycle. It would happen with or without man's presence on earth.
This reminds me of the cases where astrologers of various cultures learned to predict eclipses and then told the people that the gods were angry and demanded offerings or they would devour the sun on the given day.
It made the priests very powerful and rich.

Of course we should not waste resources and we not pollute.
But as you say, a lot of the organized "green" is either a money scam or a political scam (here in France the "greens" are an actual political party, closely tied to the socialists.
