JSuburbia: Sure it's possible to love the personality of someone but not the person itself, in a sense that's what their posts are...Their personality.

Whether they are expressing how they truly feel or going along with the crowd, in a sense, it is still an extension of who they are...I think it's easy to figure out who they are or what type of person they are regardless of if they are those that follow the crowd or have thoughts of their own by merely observing what they say over a period of time.

If they are followers, they will constantly agree and never share a thought regardless of unpopular it may be. If they are showing an extension of themselves, it is often apparent through the use of the words they use and if they stick to points that may not be popular in a particular thread.

Best be careful what we say round you then darls..you are an observant onelaugh

Is their post an extension of themself...or merely an opinion (based on what everyone else is saying...)
I had to think about your question for a few minutes, and here is the best way I know how to answer it:

Here at the beach is an artist. His work is incredible-absolutely "must have". But being around him longer than 2 seconds gives me a headache to die for. Literally. So, the product is great, the producer a putz. Does that illustrate it for you?

People are more complex than that.

You might not like certain traits in a person, but that's not to say that they don't have other traits, or opinions that you do like.

Interactions are more complicated as well.

You might not like a poster, but like the other CS members who are commenting.

On the other hand you may have had trouble with a particular poster giving you jip, or threatening to report you for their interpretation of what you have said and so you may wish to avoid that happening again.
