salanky: too right, thats embarrassing to watch. have to say though over the last while iv seen some pretty thick people on the roads and for the most part they were men showing off that they could drive on snow no problem. some fella buried his lovely rs4 in a grass verge by way of a lampost and a roadsign around the corner from me, sad day seeing a nice car written off by someone showing off

I did think it was very really mean that they could ridicule her and not actually help, she foolishly left it in gear but it could happen to the best of us! In fairness most of have never driven in these conditions I have been driving over ten years now and even I got nervous! A couple of weeks ago a van in my place of work smashed into a parked car, I thought maybe the driver had taken ill it turns out no effin driver he foolishly left the handbrake off... and yup it was A MAN....

Been driving over 30 years and I wouldn't dream of leaving a car in gear with the engine running, snow or no snow. This is a very dangerous thing to do!
