I have finished reading this article.
My view is that the current crisis was triggered by the US Fed and its interest rates and monetary policies.
In general, I don´t disagree with this article.
We should discus, what the comeing apocalypse means to the rest of the world?

Yes, Stockman is equally damning of the Democrats' Keynesian policies. But what this indictment by a party insider -- someone so close to the development of the Reaganomics ideology -- says about America, helps all of us better understand how America's toxic partisan-politics "holy war" is destroying not just the economy and capitalism, but the America dream. And unless this war stops soon, both parties will succeed in their collective death wish.

I think Ronald Reagan was one of our better presidents.
He wasn't perfect but he was alot better then we've had in the last few years.

Politicians don't get rich by making a country strong. They get rich by making a country sick. It's the same philosophy the priesthood has been using for nigh 2000 years now. Vital, confident citizens don't need government. If they don't need government, they decide to get rid of it. Vital, strong citizens can make those decisions. Weak, dependent citizens do what they're told, or they starve, because their unemployment runs out.

Today I walked the blocks around my neighborhood , stopped to talk to a few neighbors.
One younger contractor has been out of work over a year....three kids and a wife still working at a school district. They now have marriage problems because he wants to move to find employment and she's not budging.
Another neighbor who did tile setting is completely out of work as well. Fortunately his wife has union death benefits for them to live on.
The picture became clear that many will move to larger metro areas with industry to find work - but these industries have already down-sized. All of this rips at the fabric of families, marriage and society. There simply is no work for the masses...
Those who still have money take pride in abusing those who work for them by underpaying them.
It's a vicious downward spiral that has begun and accelerating .

Our tax system is beyond absurd. When it takes an accountant 4-8 hours to complete a tax return and it's almost impossible for an average person to do at all it's time for throwing out the whole damn thing and starting over.Then your Capital and Production might stay In-Country!

My uncle was in the Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC) and my family survived in no small part thanks to the pro-active actions of FDR.
The parallels to today are striking, the Republicans trash the economy and the Democrats restore it. Nothings new.
