Hot_Single_Dude: Very sad for America and for the families and loved ones of the victums of this horrible tragedy... as I pointed out in my previous thread as well which was blocked while I was gone probbely because of thread crashers who just participate to destroy threads and because they have not got what it takes to debate or understand the whole meaning of a thread.
When that said... after the condumnation and being sad because of this terrible event... should we not talk a bout how important it is to reject violence and those so called politicians who call for violence, and condumning those irresponsible politcians as well?
When did this horrible rethoric in americna politics began seriously? Remeber during the Obama campain and what McCain supporters began to say and do during their campain? Is it enough to be sad and cry as it is natural thinking a bout this horrible tragedy and then not mentioning any thing a bout the possible reasons why things went so wrong in Tuscon?
There is a true need for acknowledging that those who have brought call for violence in to their messages are some how blamed for this incident and for other violent incidents which have been dammaging America in the last two years specially... the military guy posing with gun and shooting at targets and a Palin doing the same and bringing bullseyes upon pictures of elected american congressmen on her facebook and too many indirect calls for violence brought by Fox News and candidates who call for the second ammendment if they are not elected ...has not a thing to do with possible political violence in America? Not a thing? would you beleive if not talking a bout issues then it disapeers by it self? Should the honorable MLK stop talking a bout issues and then things would happen automatichally any way?
I certainly hope that Republicans specially have learned some thing from this and stop their absolutely irresponsible kind of Rethoric which reaches dangerous minds and can cause horrible tragedies in America.
I really hope this honorable congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords is soon recovered and able to countinue her heroic work in benefit of civil rights in America and i certaily hope this incident is investigated fully and all responsible are brought to justice as the president have promised!
What did you think of Loughlen's blogging rhetoric?
Ccincy: I know how you feel HSD another thread was deleted cause there was a buncch of childish bickering going on.I've seen it happen on another site I belong to where the ones who have been there the longest have this attitude that the site belonged to them.
I've lived in neighborhoods where certain resident have a similair attitude.
Instead of staying away from that person and ignoring them they attempt to make their life miserable.
ttom500: What did you think of Loughlen's blogging rhetoric?
Signs of being mentally disturbed but not enough mentally disturbed not knowing what he was doing or not able to plan this possibly together with others or pushed by others, and definately not mentally disturbed enough for not facing propper civil punishment instead of just being placed to a mental facility only.
johnaustin123: This may be a miracle from God Ccincy.
Doctors have Gabby in a drug induced coma so that she may grow stronger over the next days,
Although I feel for Gabby, if there was a God then why wasn't the little 9 yr old girl's life spared? I feel she died for the sake of greedy politics and power.I guess being born on 9/11 became her unlucky number.I'm pretty sure her Uncle, the neigbhor who took her there and her other family members are so sad.Life isn't fair it sucks big time.I'm sad and angery all at the same time.
Found this on the Oregon912 website to which my sis-in-law belongs to.
The Oregon 912 Project would like to express our deepest sympathy and prayers for the victims of the shooting attack on Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords and Judge John Roll this morning in Tuscon, Arizona. We pray for the speedy recovery of this outstanding public servant, for the souls of the deceased, and for all of the unnamed victims of this senseless act who have survived.
As an organization dedicated to the Constitution and the rule of law we are confident that the individual responsible for will be brought to justice in the swiftest possible manner.
It applies because at least Agnostics are open to a belief in the Universal Mind...God.
Atheists are not. They may never accept a higher power.
Look on my thread:
Did God or a Higher Power Create the Universe?
Miracles happen in life, and Gabby may be one of them.
Off topic, many times the young are taken because they have accomplished their mission in life. Gabby is only 40 years old.
Some of the Elderly still live because they have not accomplished a purpose in life.
I asked you John because I do not want to go on "you thread". As to Agnostic vs. Atheist, I understand the principle, but thank you. I believe where you and I part ways is in our interpretation of a "miracle". I do not believe in miracles John. Who or what created the Universe is of no concern to me. How I live in it is. To make this statement "Many times the young are taken because they have accomplished their mission in life" is ludicrous. Another ludicrous statement made by you, "Some of the elderly still live because they have not accomplished a purpose in life". If you are willing to put these statements in writing, in bold no less, than surely you have concrete proof that they are true. You are not telling fairy tales to little children John, you are selling this stuff to full grown adults. You started a thread about religion, why not keep it there? This thread is about a violent shooting..................................Leigh2154
ttom500: Loathed my foot. Pardon the straight English. If you were truely offended about making any kind of connection between Palin and the events in Tucson or what happened in Tucson.....you would not blog on it.
