Actractorguy: I'm saying not my responsibility to interfere it the policies or practices of another period. I got my own problems to worry about.

I feel for those but I didn't cause it and not my place to fix it.

This is why we need women in power.rolling on the floor laughing doh conversing

demonfairy: I think a woman will make a great president one day, will probably happen in the next 20 years.A woman couldn't mess it up as bad as the some men have done up to now.

Oh yes one could. Remember Margaret Thacher?

A woman being advised by men and coming up through the ranks in a male organised/dominated world, will always think and act like a man, and sometimes be even worse.wine

To me and this is IMO.

If everyone worried about themselves first and their families then there would be less problems all over the world. Take care of No1 and every one do the same then no need to whine and cry about I'm poor feed me.

Give a man a fish and he will eat for a day. Teach a man to fish and he will eat for a lifetime.

I don't give out hand outs unless I see them trying to help better themselves.

Its just a pity that when anyone becomes a leader they change

I think it is too much responsibility and pressure on a single persons brain to be a leader of many

Leadership should be shared or rotated frequently

While I think it is still a long way off, I'd certainly welcome it as the beginning of change for good, finally.hug

I have no problem with Women running things as long as they think. Some who aspire to be leaders are just as bad as the men in charge.

Actractorguy: Yes. All manner of animals go through cycles of starvation. It's called natural culling.

Cycles yes but starvation in different parts of the world does not go in cycles. In too many places it's a permanent vicious circle rather than cycle

EagleWoman: May be humans should take a leaf out of duck's book then...

Anyone ever heards of duck wars or starving ducklings?

I've seen wild ducklings that were born a week or so before other families of ducklings attack the smaller and younger ones until they'd finally die. I'd visit this lake where these families lived and the first family had 16 ducklings of which 14 made it to fly while the other families lost 80% of their ducklings to attacks by the elder ducklings.

Nature is sometimes very cruel.

Yes but again We the US and other countries send millions of tons of grains and such to those countries. If their government doesn't distribute it it is not my problem. It is the responsibility of the the people to rise up and make the changes themselves. Ask for the help and truly put the effort in making their country better and in turn they will be better off for it.

O malarkey! Thats a self centered selfish attitude! Do you really suppose they wouldnt be happy to care for themselves were they able?? Come on! Its ALL about "teaching them to fish" But conditions like drought, famine. disease are not controlable. I would like to see you go to Haiti and stand in what used to be the city center and make your wee pronouncments...Lets see you say this to maybe Sean Penn or Nelson Mandela ...PLEASE talk to hand
