flick1980Offaly, Ireland27 Threads 1 Polls 1,684 Postsi really dont know what to do. last year i was harrassed on here and threatened. i laughed it off at the time. a year later he is harrassing me on a different site and i have blocked him but i can still see messages he sent me. he has threatened to track me down and kill me. when i started talking to him a year ago on here i was very stupid and naive and gave him my number and now i dont remember what details i gave him. it is actually scaring me now. i know that is gonna give him great joy knowing its scaring me but i dont know what i can do cos i deleted his number at the time and he could be anybody. i have contacted the other site and told them if they dont do something i will contact the guards but i dont know what i can do cos i dont even have any details on who he is or anything

If you have his mail then im sure the garda can get some sort of info from that, their not gonna treat a death threat lightly!!!

i already said i was very naive at the time and didnt realise the site was full of fakes...

the ip address is not always static, if its a a mobile broadband for example it picks up diff ips each time it is turned on, a fixed line broadband is static, but can be modified and changed if he has gone to that extent, but the computer he logs in through has a seriel code which i am sure the mods on here have access too, so get in touch with them asap...then give whatever info they have to the guards and see what can be done..

thanks shar, yeah i remember his name and i remember what threads of mine he posted on. he hasnt activated that accounts since the start of last year when it was all going on.
If it is any consolation I am sure that you have the support of all of those on here who know you. Before I am accused of being part of any click there are some of us on here who remember Flick being harrassed by a lowlife on here before.
I would say Flick that this pathetic scumbag is probably too brainless to carry out any threats. The guards will take you seriously though and all the better if you can print out some of his mails or posts.. though not to worry if you cant access them.

Hey Flick, keep pen and paper handy, jot down things that youre trying to remember, even the little things, as they come into your head, cant be easy with everything swirling around in there and all the worry and everything. Keep every bit of communication he sends or has sent no matter how hurtful or distastful. Every little detail can be used to build a case. Write down stuff that happened, have stuff prepared to let the guards see the extent of it. Meantime let your some trusted work colleagues and family know whats going on. Keep to public places and all the usual. Be vigilant when ur out, keep ur mobile with u and charged. He might be just a cyber crank and hopefully thats all he is but just be prepared. Dont let it take over ur life if u can help it. I m sure if the guards go to cs they ll get previous posts etc but could take time.

flick anyone who knows a bit about football needs the leisuremans attention i remember this idiot but consider these latest threats as cyber innuendo ,at the end of the day its a screen we are all talking to ,however this has obviously touched a nerve with you so you can either totally ignore it and stop projecting and wash the mind games away or print out these threats and offer them to approriate authorities for guidance

To sign up here he would have given an email address and he can be found from that no matter if he is using a fixed line or whatever type of wireless modem he is using. Its the same technology the garda used to snare Joe O Reilly with his mobile phone calls and texts.
