Only for the ladies. laugh

Can you explain in a few words your physical sensations. Is the baby growing in your belly something cold, or warm, swarming, heavy, bulky, etc ?
Try please to separate your physical sensations from your inner feelings.

I am very curious to know about the physical sensations, since my ex couldn't put words on what was happening, and the subject never came in the discussion with my female friends.

Feel free to share with other ladies.
Thanks in advance to put a light with your own words on a mystery for us, men. wine

Its not possible to explain in a "few" words. Its also not possible to separate your physical feelings from your inner feelings. Its a complete metabolic change. Everytime you feel the baby move it stirs your inner feelings. Love grows as the baby does. At least it did for me wine

It is the most amazing feeling mentally. You feel so special, as if you are the only one in the world going through this feeling. You feel such an incredible bond. I wanted to know my kids' genders because it was easy to visualise what and who they would grow up to be.

And then the baby starts to kick and you can see your tummy wobble and move. You are so close and yet so far. You can't wait for the birth to happen but scared too. You go crazy with all the conflicting advice. You perhaps have to deal with other family members who are a tiny bit jelous too and become broody for another child.

Every minute you are focussed on what a lucky woman you are to be able to bring a new life into this world.

The above is my own personal experience but not everyone feels as sentimental about the situation of pregnancy.

Yes, I know a lot of women with sciatica problems after their pregnancy. That is unfortunately common, it seems. wine

But I'd like to know only (please) the physical sensations during pregnancy.
The problems (and the wonder) after birth, I know. grin

Its full of wind and gas...and a sensation that an alien is going to explode from your belly..

I dont handle pregnancy very well obviously! laugh

Really? Its amazing to feel something that you have made, moving and dependant on you inside of you.

Ahahahha I know men hate to talk about that part. It seems to me that Mother nature blesses us with forgetting though. Its seems we forget until we are then again...and then we say O ya I remember this sigh

To see the baby in the crib, the playpen, crawling around the lounge, their first steps, seeing them in their school uniforms, (trying not to see teenage tantrums!), seeing them as adults - mature people doing well, and walking down the aisle.

All whilst being pregnant!

Mother Nature did not do her job on making me forget the pain. I still feel the pain just thinking about it. In fact on my first child's first birthday I was traumatised and crying as I was reliving the pain. Stupid I know. It was horrible but people told me the second labour would not be as bad as it never is. WRONG!

Ok, no foreseeing, rather scaring about their future.

No, no scaring. A woman happy about being pregnant has inbuilt hopes and dreams - it is a kind of bonding with the baby and is natural to think about the positives and not the negative.

First trimester 1-3 months...lots of changes physically, tired, heightened sense of smells, felt exhaustion like never have in my entire life. felt butterfly like movements, tickling sort of sensation, slept a LOT! : )

Second trimester later in 3rd-6 months....grew bigger, but more comfortable, lots of energy, was too big for my normal clothes but still to small for my maternity duds...loved this part, felt baby moving, read lots of books, prepared myself and house for arrival, cleaned, cleaned and cleaned some more. Loved strawberries, root beer, pizza and hot, spicy foods.

Third trimester 7-9 months, uncomfortable, had to constantly run to the br because of baby dancing on my bladder, gained weight in odd places, belly huge, couldn't sit or stand for long periods of time, baby pressing on my back, uncomfortable to sleep, heartburn, acid reflux...wanted the baby OUT..lol

loved being pregnant, best time of my life, felt womanly, alive, healthy, happy and my maternal drive kicked in and I went through profound life and psychological changes..have never been the same and was the best thing I've ever done in my whole life....hands down.teddybear
