Geri11: What I mean is ur perception of "old" changes as u age urself. And it def depends on the individual, i know people my age who behave as if they are 10 yrs older so a relationship with someone 20 yrs older them would prob work, where as for me, it wouldn't.
ah i understand what you mean now. to be honest when i think about my age i do feel like iv done nothing with my life and here i am at 27 still living with my parents when both my sisters were long gone before the age of 24 sigh

I used to be able to go out 3 or 4 nights in a row. Can't go out one night anymore without dying in bed for a week after sigh

Each to their own. No point moving out until it's the right time for u, and only u will know when that is. Live ur own life and don't worry about what everyone else is doing comfort

Your definitely not alone thinking that. I'm 30 and still at home and I feel the same way. I hear so many people that have done lots of interesting things and I wouldn't have alot of stories to tell about myself at all. Don't worry E. U have plenty of time to do things. Sure u have passed ur exams which is a great achievement so u have plenty of exciting things ahead of u teddybear

Ok ok I am back. I can put more thought in to this.

ok and rereading my thread i messed it up as per usual. help

What I was trying to say is ... Age was never a thing that came up for me I always had people older than me around and i got on well with them.

Just now on the whole dating side of it I am wondering about age.
A member said "i guess the age thing did make a difference" to me.
I was on a few days break and was all over the place wires got crossed but its all sorted now.

I never really thought much of their age still dont if i am to be honest but because they mentioned the age thing is obvious that its something on their mind.

Now i am worried incase I would be immature or childish. I know in some aspects of my life I am very grown up always have been. I owned my own business at 21 and own house at 23. I put my ex partner through college and my self. But saying that I still seek thrills that someone older may see as being immature (i drive fast and hard, i love cars) but its the high and the danger i get a kick out of, i know this is immature and dangerous but i dont really accept my own mortality.

yay

The older you get, the better life gets! I wouldn't want to be 19 again, no way! I love growing wiser and happier each day. applause

If it's only for dating then I don't think it makes much difference. In fact dating someone outside your own age bracket can be very enlightening and enlivening. Living life to the fullest doesn't always mean finding cronies that you can 'brush along with'. That can be pleasant and comfortable too if your looking for long term companionship or intend rearing a family.

Have a taste of life pie and if you don't like it, move on!
