RDM59: Q .... If your god created the universe just for us, why is it so damn big ?

Surely is doesn't have to be ? ....

Do microbes really need the entire ocean ... or do they have a consciousness about the space

but that isn't a god proof is it.If nothing can be created or destroyed then it is always been there and it will never disappear. If that it so then time is an illusion and so are we.

ali110: Definatly all planets are for us and for our benefit ,We get the Nitrogen from sun it is very important for crops and soil ,We get Phosphorus from moon it is energy for land ,so like it every thing is in our favour but as we are not that developed or advanced so we still have to go a long long way RDM. Science is working well have a Look on the Mobile phone service and than space ,The gases in the space are created by God and we are utilizing the Natural things and we will be forever ,God gives us a Huge universe to explore and to get benefits from it

You just quote the Sun and Moon which are in our solar system. So why doesn't the universe just end there ? Doesn't god have the ability to provide us with all we need from that, why create more ?

P.S. nitrogen, oxygen etc are products of living organisms here on earth.

No they don't need all of it, they just make do with what they have got, no choice in the matter. If the chemistry is right for life, the volume doesn't matter.

life is a spontaneous chemical reaction of larger molecules

It is God's universe and i said we are not that develpoed or advanced to know all about the universe ,science is working and everyday a new research is coming in the front of us
science is not that great to explore entire universe but it is doing well ,we have many theories about the benefits of Other planets ,We are getting the benefits from other planets too but we dont know about it and i sure the new theories will be coming every day about it wine

I sort of know what you mean. Science can work out the steps back down through evolution to the most basic forms of life, single cell organisms but don't yet understand what the magic spark of life is ..... it's all far more fantastic than science fiction !
