i always take the express train from London to Cambridge,so it doesnt stop everywhere,but i can swear one of the stations we pass really fast is called Baldicock..
If ever a town was appropriately named! I think it is possibly growing now, as it isn't too far from Portland--but I remember when people would hear "I'm going out to see friends in Boring" and eyes would roll... a dusty bit of nothin' years ago.

how about the surname, "Allcock" which is quite prevalent--occasionally I hear a minister or other more refined person refer to someone by this last name and the hesitation and at least slight embarrassment is obvious--see, it wouldn't bother me to have that name, no really, it wouldn't!
