I am so proud of myself because I recently took a Greek language test and I am very pleased with my results, both in speaking and reading. But my level is still fairly low and I have a long way to go towards anything that could be called fluency.
I see so many people here who write in English and who do such a great job at it that we often forget that this is not their native language.
I just want to say "Bravo" to you! Many of you write with a greater understanding of my language than many of my countrymen possess, and this is most impressive.

Same sentiments here, and as an English teacher I´ve noticed great leaps and bounds in some of the non-native English speakers here, paricularly our Boban.
Congratulations to all of you. Nice thread T, and congratulations to you too on your results.

Boban has progressed to such a level that I often wonder if his writings are truly coming from HIM! Yes, he's made amazing progress and it's been a joy to witness.

Where are you from, Cherry? I would never have guessed that English was not your first language!
