Merriweather: Jeepers... lolVictoria is ahead of us in South Australia as we are both ahead of Western Australia....lol
Have a look at the distance between us...
If I drive to Melb Victoria.... Its about 1000 k's... and if I drive to Perth it's a real water bag and packed lunch and stop over trip... about 2000 ks. BTW.... have driven both ways... lol... and the drive to Perth is woefully long. ... the only souls you meet are wombats and road trains...
So you are saying that Australia is about half the size of Texas ?

pedro27: whats the temputure there in the winter?
Hey Pedro...
hard to fathom ain't it... but we have different temperatures depending on location...
For me, I live in a valley in the Adelaide Hills.. and its always colder than in the city...
so winter for me can see Jack Frost sometimes.. but usually cold about 13 - 16 degrees.. and if its August.. can be around 10 although at night can drop to single digits..
In Vic. where Faith is from, her temperatures can be quite different...
But where you are from... I really dont know how you people can do it... its not so much the cold... but the length of time it stays cold...
I think I would find it hard... but I'd love to see snow..
