hey there Shell
it shouldn't take long to find him a placing but I refuse to just hand him over to the first potential home that comes along for the sake of it
... he's been so endearing that it is difficult not bond with him 
... I'll know when to let him go though... I've re homed a few now and I just have a sense when the right people show up... in the meantime I get to enjoy, enjoy, enjoy!!

You.... my dear are a girl after my own heart!My guy adores my oop's ... Our three dogs as much as I do.
Taking them on holiday to Callula Beach, dog friendly and State Forest near by.The excitment and joy they show is catching.
I have had two German Shepherds in my life and they were wonderful,they are so intellegent and it must be so hard for him at this time, without a shadow of a doubt he would sense that uncertanty that is surrounding him at the moment, poor sweet angel.
I do hope you find a loving forever home for him soon.

Yes the canine is truly an awesome animal and I would have to agree with you on the joy factor sweetie! ... I get to live with this joy every day of the wk!!
Gus is living with my pack and I at the moment and has all his doggy needs met with a confident state of being around here (dogs live in the moment, so as long as the moment is confident, he will be too!) ... he pack walks, comes on private consultations with me, his owners are still paying for his food, vet bills and accommodation, he has rules to follow and gets a lot of affection so he isn't sensing any uncertainty what so ever... of course I would like to keep him that way and will wait until I find him a home that will treat him as a member of the family as he has always known.
