Qaddafi himself shut down all internet access and telephone lines since the protests began!
Four days before the protests began Qaddafi people contacted local heads in Benghazi to offer them monetary goods - this he did so because he saw what was happening in Tunis and Egypt .
This i know for sure as i got a phone call offering me new cars and more property .. this my friend goes deeper then you actually think !
I suggest you worry about your own governmental structure . There is alot to whats going on in Libya that is not publicized and internal information to the media is limited !

The rebellion against an autocratic,despotic,dictaror Qaddafi and some of his sons,is the wish of the people of Libya to get rid off,not the wish of UK and France.Also in democratic countries,like UK and France, the wishes of the prople are paramount,and this is exactly what UK,France,and other countries supporting.-They support the wishes of the Libyans to get rid of Qaddafi.-

pls lets face the fact? since 42 yrs of Gaddafi rule how many Libyans has died? how many civil or tribal war has been fought? how many UN or western peace keepers are in mission in Libya?
and how many Libyan refugees live in your country?
we have seen more death in just few week of this uprising because the west is forcing democracy on people.
