The news coming out of Libya and the UN is confusing. Who fired first? I know that it was France, and the US probably backed them up. It really doesn't matter who fired first, but rather the long term outcome that is important.

A news commentator just said Libya Gadaffi is threatening civilian and military targets in the Medeterrian including Israel.
I would have worry about Malta and maybe Italy, but Israel? How likely is that? News people are a little odd in what they say sometimes. Of course this was from FOX News.

Sadam did the samething...not once but twice. They (Sadam and Qdaffi) see this as a way to encourage local Muslim to their side....by bringing Israel into the fray.

What a disgrace! UK, US and France should be ashamed of themselves for getting involved ''yet again'' in someone else's domestic affairs. If it wasn't for an oil based bargaining future, because all those governments are broke due to their disgusting greed, none of them would give Libya a second thought!! Pathetic to say the least!!
