I was a senior in high school. I had a date with a guy who asked me to go to the movies.
The guy was a wrestler in high school and like Sandy in Grease, I thought we went there to watch the movie.
We kissed and that was enough for me cause I was a virgin.
Well, the wrestler thought he was going to change that and he got rough with me. I kept telling him no, no, no.
He took me home and when I walked into my house there was a guy there that my father worked with. I didn't know at the time that the guy, who was 12 years older than me) had a crush on me.
To make a long story short, I started going out with him and he told me that when I walked into the house that night he was upset because my lipstick was smeared.
GACryptic: I know what a drive in theatre is simply because there has been one in my town for over 50 years. It will be here for a long time to come as far as I can tell too. We have one of the three left. I am not sure where the other two are, but I know that it was in the Atlanta Constitution Journal one year about these phenomenons.
If you have one where you are, does anyone know where the other one is?
Correction: There are three in Georgia. Here is the link.
Not all the drive in movies are gone. I love the one we have in our town. I also like the way that ponytails with bows are coming back in style. I don't think crenolyn skirts will ever come back, but our cheerleaders wear the saddle shoes. They have weights in them for better kickability.

Ohhhhh the drive in ! What memories. Just you and ( insert your girls name at the time here ) alone ( with about a hundred others ) in your car parked at night . Well if you remember then I don't have to go any farther, If you don't then you missed a rite of passage . . . . . .
I still remmeber my first date ever was to a drive in. It was my friend's older brother. I was only 14 and it was in his car AND he was 16 or 17 so I'm surprised my dad let me go - prolly thought since they were familt friends he'd behave
