serene56: Now shopping around for the best deal for wireless broadband Month to month with Virgin for the lappy right now, but they aren't configured for the Galaxy yet as it's so new.
So far Vodaphone is looking good with $29 p/m for 6GB, including wifi so I can stick it in my lappy and the tablet can feed from it, or I can use the same sim in both.
6GB will be plenty, I'm using less than 5 atm and can take the tab to the local Maccas if I start running out anyway

puppypower: yeah like I said thinking of using it wor work and 5 g wouldent cut it for video confrences etc .didnt get a chance to look today been kinda busy ... but its on my list of things to do

yeah theres a bunch of things I need to look into ...prolly end up going with the ipad but its worth a look
Serene and all....A friend of mine also has the mobile size Galaxy and LOVES it - depends what your needs are I guess - it that the one that also has wave technology to type out messages etc. If so, that is so cool and very smart stuff.
As for wireless broadband - the phone co. you mentioned has had lousy press lately for really bad service and connection. Might want to think about that...
Also, let us in on your 'special' deal - or did the back of the truck help out?
I too hanker for an IPad - not for any good reason mind....just cos it seems so very cool and is transportable.

Yeah it's a great little device, basically a mobile computer and I'm looking forward to using it to it's full potential
Thanks for the info re the telco, I'll take my time and try to make an informed decision before I sign up for anything
