a coffee and a walk always is a lovely date for me not into big expensive gestures, never was, money does not count, and these days few of us have cash to spare, thank god for cheap wine before one goes out and good company wine dancing

Times are tough for everyone - but in my experience I meet everyone half way (all my dates have been half way down Ireland lol) - i like to contribute towards the date cos everyone's money is hard come by and I do not believe a man has to pay for everything - I have been with men who were insulted almost that i had offered to pay for a round of drinks etc and that was never my intention - but in these times I think everyone should be aware of these things and as someone has already stated the best things in life are free - so lets get a thread going about the best free dates they have experienced - leaving out the obvious of course rolling on the floor laughing
